




It is located in the north-eastern side of the citadel “Its Cale”, inside the Castle of Ioannina. The building in which the Museum is housed was initially built as a royal hunting pavilion.
Findings from the early-and post-Byzantine era, artefacts and icons from the 16th to the 19th century, collections etc are exhibited in the museum.

It is located in Mpizani, 12km south of the city. It is a wonderful museum, unique in its kind. Wax figures and scenes of the Hellenic History as well as works-symbols of the artist Paulos Vrellis are exhibited here.

It is housed in the Castle, in the Mosque of Aslan Pasha. Apart from the spectacular views, it offers exhibits of the Greek, Turkish and Jewish communities that lived in Ioannina and created their legend. In the catalogue of the exhibits, valuable, traditional costumes and jewellery from various regions of the continent are included as well as works of silver and ceramics, wooden furniture of the period between the 18th and the 20th century.
The Museum is located on the island and housed in cells of the St. Panteleimon Monastery, where Ali Pasha was assassinated in 1822. The collection includes artefacts from pre-revolutionary period, memorabilia from the era of Ali Pasha.

The Museum can be found on 42 Michael Angel Street and it offers the public folklore exhibits and traditional costumes of Epirus.

The museum is located in the courtyard of the citadel in the Mosque of Aslan. The exhibits belong to the private collection of Fotis Rapakousis. Pieces of armoury used during the revolutions serve as exhibits in this collection. In the Museum one may also find the famous pipe of Ali Pasha, a pipe 161 cm long made from the wood of rosebushes with fine carves. The mouthpiece is made of silver, amber and ivory. This rare piece was created at the end of the 18th century.
